Original Instruction: A Guided Reflection on Your Mission, Purpose, and Career

Inspired by authentically-received wisdom from indigenous and Jewish oral traditions, Original Instruction is a three-part exercise that utilizes coaching techniques and the power of reflection to help you develop awareness, clarity, and confidence about your career direction.

Each section of Original Instruction focuses on a different part of your life, helping you tie past, present, and future together into a coherent and compelling story. By including a mixture of guided journaling questions, reading, and value-added activities, this guided reflection mimics the flow and feel of a professional career coaching program at a fraction of the cost. All you need is a pencil and a notebook (or a word processor) to record your insights!

Zachary R.J. Strong is a psychospiritual coach, scholar, and author trained in Co-Active and developmental methodologies. He has a decade of experience in K-12 and postsecondary education, as well as several years of experience in the executive coaching, corporate training, and workshop facilitation industries, where he has helped many people connect to what is really important in their lives.
